I did this one on Sunday. We have a Taiwanese painting group called Yo Yo Artist Club. Other members wanted me to do a 3 hours oil painting demo to show my painting process.

This is awesome - i love the way you go right in with the ivory black - do you wait till the skin is basically established? If I tried this, I'd get black in everything :)
I mix Ultramarine Blue Deep, Transparent Red Oxide, and Viridian to get black color so I won't go wrong with the Hue. With "mixed" black, it will be fine with other color and skin tone. For real black color, I only use a little bit for dark's dark.
do you have any other process pics? I've just started getting into oil portraits so I have a lot to learn.
I think I do. I will post when I get chance to manage those photos.
